Tapawingo Means - A Place Of Joy!

Why Tap?

Campers gather outside at Camp Tapawingo, Maine.
Tapawingo and the unique values of Maine, lives in and through each camper, teaching her to be her authentic self, to be authentically “ME!”

Our intimate camp community fosters connections and deep relationships. We cheer each other on, we hold one another accountable to our philosophy and culture, we tap into shared experiences and celebrate our differences.

“One thing that makes Tapawingo different from other camps is the vibe you get from a fellow Tap girl. There’s something about other Tap girls who are friendly and inclusive and as weird as you — it crosses all the generations, you’ll go up to them and sing songs and skip down the street in public and it’ll be like you went to camp together even if you had never met. ”
