The Tapawingo Campership Fund is operated in partnership with the American Camp Association (ACA), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit public charity.
In 2024, we awarded $205,000 to help girls whose families needed financial assistance in order to be able to attend, for tuition, uniform, and other camp necessities. We look forward to continuing this longstanding tradition in 2025. Your donation goes directly to the campers who need it most!

Tapawingo Campership Fund FAQ
Are donations to the Tap Campership Fund tax-deductible?
Yes, your donation to the Tapawingo Campership Fund is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Donations are received in partnership with the American Camp Association Campership Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity.
Can my employer make a matching donation?

Companies can donate online here or use the above information for donating via check.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes you will receive a receipt directly from the ACA.
What is the EIN/Tax ID for the Campership Fund?
35-0962419 (American Camp Association).
How do the camperships funds get distributed?
Tap identifies a camper and the tuition amount (which may be partial or full), sometimes including funds for uniform and other camp necessities, that camper needs in order to attend. Tapawingo sends that information to the ACA Campership Fund for each camper in need. Then, the ACA releases funds from the Tapawingo Campership Fund to Tap to cover those campers’ costs.
